We manage to nail all three races as Bold Account, Happy Anniversary and Cat Patrol all stormed on to victory for some healthy profits.

Ayr

2.10 - This looks to be a good opportunity for Bold Account to follow up his three length success last time out. In his last start he was representing a stable with a 24% 2yo strike rate at Ripon and had signalled a return to form when showing an improved effort at Yarmouth previously. He was drawn best of all with the stands rail to help. He made every yard of the running and whilst the 2nd placed horse threatened to make a race of it he was readily brushed aside from a furlong out. He relished the softer ground and he should run a big race today. Of the rest Imperial Skylight looks the biggest danger.

3.10 - Whilst there are a few debut runners here that could be anything, this race looks likely to come down to two from the field. Dean Iarracht has made a decent enough start to racing with two seconds in his only two starts. Last time out the tongue strap and blinkers were left off but ultimately he was held by the winner on the opposite side of the track. It was an improved effort to pull clear of his group and he was claimed that day by Michael Dodds, who he has his first run for today. He looks capable of winning a race and should run well. My tip goes to Happy Anniversary who showed a much improved effort for being dropped back to 6f and encountering softer ground. She was doing all her best work at the finish last time out but she did not help her chances by hanging right in the closing stages. She does have the form in the bank for a race like this and should go very close.

Lingfield

4.20 - Plenty of unraced horses in this maiden stakes and a quick check of the betting market should show which of those have a live chance today. I like the look of Cat Patrol who was impressive in a Lingfield maiden a couple of starts ago and was just beaten by a length. She was then entered into a Listed race but ultimately was uncompetitive. Back in this company she will be looking to gain the first win of her career and should run a big race.
