LOOK

Absolutely huge – they make you look like the Dennis Waterman character on Little Britain. A really nasty gold star design on the back rounds off a beautifully naff package. 2/5

SHUFFLEABILITY

Almost impossible to do a hand shuffle unless you’ve got pan hands. The only way you’re going to get a decent shuffle is to utilise the swirl-on-table technique. 2/5

MIDDLE BEND

Passed without a hitch but that’s not indicative of the quality as much as the sheer size of the cards. 5/5

CORNER BEND

Biggest is most definitely best if you want to bend. Turning the corner right back left a small mark that disappeared within a few minutes. 5/5

NINJA

With any luck the new Airbus A380 will take to the skies better than this behemoth. The deal was slightly better, but you’ve got to hope that no one’s got any chips on the table or it’s going to end in tears. 1/5

WASHABILITY

When you’ve got a massive surface area and you’re made of paper, the last thing you want to see is a pool of liquid and coffee. A disaster, unless you’re looking for cards that can blot a spillage for you. 1/5

VALUE FOR MONEY

Value for money? Well you’re definitely getting more material for your money, but whether these are worth the asking price depends on whether you need a novelty set of oversize cards. 3/5

OVERALL

Why would you ever want a pack of mammoth cards? Well, we played with some at a charity event against the Devilfish and it meant the crowd could see exactly what was going on when we knocked him out.
