PokerStars has announced a new addition to Team PokerStars Pro after signing William Thorson, Swedish pro poker player. Thorson’s first appearance as a Team PokerStars Pro player will be at the 2008 World Series of Poker. He will represent PokerStars throughout the year at numerous other poker tournaments and online at PokerStars.com

William has cashed four times at the WSOP with his most notable success in the 2006 WSOP coming 13th in the Main Event and winning 7,128. His live tournament winnings to date already exceed ,800,000; he made the final table at the PokerStars EPT San Remo and finished 9th at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure earlier this year.
