The dates for the second annual World Series of Poker Europe Presented by Betfair have been announed by organisers Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc.

The 2008 World Series of Poker Europe Presented by Betfair (the WSOPE) will be held from 19 September to 1 October, 2008 in London, England.

As with the inaugural event, this year’s tournament will be hosted by London Clubs International and held at their St. James (Fifty), Leicester Square (The Casino at the Empire) and Marble Arch (Sportsman) locations.

“It was a clean sweep for the Europeans last year,” said World Series of Poker Commissioner Jeffrey Pollack.
