Dusk Till Dawn (DTD), potentially Europe’s largest card room, will be attending Nottingham Magistrates Court on 24 September for its Casino License hearing. If it’s successful, it will become the UK’s first legal poker club.
However, the club’s opening is being challenged by three casinos, Gala, Stanleys and London Clubs International who are objecting on the grounds of “insufficient demand.”
Rob Yong, Managing Director of DTD, says: “This has nothing to do with ‘insufficient demand’, it’s just an attempt by the big boys to keep a stranglehold on their monopoly.
