PKR.com's richest poker festival has come to an end after two weeks of intense tournament competition. The 2008 PKR Super Series hosted 5,511 participants, crowned 14 champions and paid out $284,650 in prizes.

There were few surprises as those who topped the Super Series money list also filled the top three slots on the Super Series Leaderboard. ‘LucyLovesLost’ claimed the prestigious ‘PKR Masters’ title and a huge $26,250. ‘eupremio’ scooped $6,806 in the ‘$25,000 guaranteed Deep Stack six seater’ while ‘helpimf’ emerged victorious in the $25,000 guaranteed No Limit Hold’em event for a $8,034 payday.

The festival was capped off with PKR.com’s exclusive ‘Tournament of Champions’ - pitting the winners of the 12 main events and eight others from the Super Series Leaderboard against each other for a cool $5,000 prizepool. 20 runners battled it out and wildcard ‘Patrichue’ claimed his sole first place of the festival, worth $2,500 and bragging rights for champion status.

Aside from the fortune, the final table of every Super Series tournament will be televised with expert and colourful analysis from our own commentary team. The final tables have already begun airing on PKR TV and will soon be available on YouTube.
