Details are announced for Ladbrokes Poker Million VII, with plenty of qualification routes open

Not content with running one of the most exciting poker tournaments, Ladbrokes Poker has announced the Poker Million VII line-up and seat draw and some changes to the popular TV poker show format.

Players will now get the chance to:
· Leapfrog the 12 televised heats and win a place in the semi finals via special on-line Freerolls
· Play in a second chance turbo heat if they place second in their heat to win a place in the semi-finals

For the first time ever, from August – November, viewers and Ladbrokes Poker players will have the opportunity to win a fast track $120,000 seat into the Poker Million semi-finals. Ladbrokes Poker is running 120 online ‘Freerolls’ while the tournament is broadcast on TV and will once again be adding $500,000 prize money and once again the first prize will be $1,000,000 and prize money will be paid down to 16th place.

While the other Poker Million VII contestants route to the semi-final will be by winning one of the twelve, six seater heats, the lucky winner of the Ladbrokes Poker ‘Chase the Chair’ promotion will super satellite their way into one of the two eight seater semi-finals.

Another exciting twist to the format, will see players that fall one short of first in any of the twelve heats get another chance to duke it out in one of two ‘Second Chance’ turbo STTs for a place in the semi-finals.

There will be 17 TV shows Seventeen TV shows with one celebrity heat; 12 six seater heats; two second chance heat shows; and two eight seat semi finals.

The Semi final and finals will be broadcast live from Wednesday 10-12 December. And the show airs from 9 September – 9 December. The Poker Million party will be held on 12 December at The Metropole in London.

Prize money:
First: $1,000,000
Second: $260,000
Third: $175,000
Fourth: $130,000
Fifth: $100,000
Sixth: $75,000
Losing Semi-Finalists: $20,000 for ten players
