After Julian Thew's recent well deserved win at EPT Baden, the European Poker Tour caravan moves on to it's next and very popular stop, in Ireland's capital.

The PokerStars.com European Poker Tour arrives in Dublin on Tuesday 30 October at the Royal Dublin Society. Up to 600 top professional and amateur poker players will compete for their share of over €4m in prize money.

Members of Team PokerStars will also be playing in the tournament, including World Series of Poker bracelet winner, Katja Thater, internet wunderkind, Dario Minieri, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier and previous EPT champions Luca Pagano and Noah Boeken.

Prior to the tournament PokerStars.com has also donated a €25,000 seat to the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo as top prize for the Simon Poker Charity Tournament, held as part of EPT Dublin to raise money for the homeless charity Simon Dublin.

EPT Season 4 is now three events old with the fourth event, Dublin, soon to take place. The fifth stop will be a new one, heading to Prague in the Czech Republic, 10-14 December, and PokerStars has already already awarded seats through online satellites.

The EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo is fast approaching too, and satellites have already started for the Season's final event, which takes place in Monaco 12-17 April 2008. The 2007 event attracted 704 runners with a prize pool of over €6.6m, making it the richest poker tournament ever held in Europe. This year's event promises to be even bigger.

Not only that, satellites for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (4-11 January, 2008) have kicked off. In a busy month for satellites, 68 players have already qualified for the showpiece PCA tournament in the Bahamas. This $8,000 NLHE tournament will once again be held at the Atlantis Paradise Resort. Surely one to start gunning for?
